Struck by Cadence

Last Tuesday, I went on a little day trip to Montreal. It was really great! The weather was perfect for wandering so I visited the Contemporary Art Museum, checked out Annex Vintage, and explored Little Italy where I stumbled upon Cafe Olimpico (aka the cafe with the BEST mochaccinos and chocolate cheesecake). All this was fun but one of the highlights of the day was seeing Cadence Weapon.



You may have seen this face around town and in our shops recently.

Here's the "lame" part though... I was sooo "starstruck" that I didn't say anything to him! I've got to say that the guy was clearly in the middle of a conversation with atleast three other people and I did not intend on interrupting. Although I could've played the whole "Hey, I'm lost. Can you help me find my way? Wait a sec... Aren't you so and so?!" card, I decided to play it safe and be on my way.

I'm optimistic about the small world we live in so I have a little faith that I may run into him at some point. One thing I do know is that I'll definately be seeing Cadence Weapon play at the Arboretum Arts Festival and you should, too! Check out the line up that will be playing and buy your tickets, folks!
