We are not usually in the business of putting on events outside of the store, but this was too good to pass up. We are giddy with excitement to be a part of this super awesome event and it is not to be missed. Mark you calendars. Saturday September 8th, the founders of FOUND magazine are headed back to Ottawa for their 10th anniversary tour.

Magazine’s 10th Anniversary Tour, which celebrates the release of Davy’s book
of personal essays, My Heart is an Idiot, Peter’s new album, and a brand-new
issue of FOUND.
The Rothbart Brothers are hopping back in the tour van, FOUND
treasures in tow, for an epic romp across North America with stops in 75 cities
– including a stop on Saturday, September 8th in Ottawa at Pressed (750
Gladstone Avenue) at 7:00 p.m. Their last visit to Ottawa sold out quickly, so
arrive early to guarantee yourself a spot!
FOUND Magazine is a collection of
the greatest lost, tossed, and forgotten items: love letters, birthday cards,
kids' homework, to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills,
doodles - anything that gives a glimpse into someone else's life. Whether they
are found on city sidewalks, stuck in chain-link fences,
tucked into the pockets of secondhand clothing or library books, or on the
grass in a school yard, these items give readers an uncensored, poignant, and
often hilarious peek into other people's lives.
