Supply & Demand

So we have really exciting new neighbours joining us in our West Wellington 'hood - Steve Wall (former chef at Town & Luxe) & his wife Jenn Wall have just opened their very own place called Supply & Demand! We've been pretty amped about this for a few reasons...1) Chef Steve Wall is a big part of what made us fall in love with Town restaurant when it first opened 2) We've gotten to know Jenn through her visits to the shop and she is a pure DELIGHT, we seriously love her (and were so touched to see her wearing a Dagg & Stacey dress from the shop on her big opening night!) and 3) the seahorse logo & custom wall-paper we could see peeking through the papered up windows as they did massive renos on the space was just killing us...

We were lucky enough to be invited on the eve of their grand opening on Sunday night, and I think it's safe to say our jaws hit the beautifully tiled floor and stayed there the whole night. The space is soooo beautiful. Our drinks and snacks were divine, and I can't wait to go back to try...oh maybe a little bit of everything off the menu? We encourage you to check it out too, this is shaping up to be the most exciting new restaurant in Ottawa in 2013.

The wall opposite their beautiful seahorse wall-paper is covered in vintage gold framed mirrors, mostly sourced from antique shops and sweet old ladies on Craigslist!
To welcome our new business pals to the 'hood we thought we would celebrate with a little promotion. If you come in to the West Wellington shop with a receipt from Supply & Demand from the month of January, we'll give you 10% off your purchase (even all our already deeply discounted sale & Birds of North America Pop-Up Shop stock & jewelry which hardly ever goes on sale!)

This is the type of attention to detail we really appreciate...Even the aprons the kitchen staff wear are spot-on. Blue and white stripes with brown leather straps!!
Just a little way to encourage you all to check out this wonderful new restaurant and say heyyyyyyyyy welcome to the neighbourhood guys!!! Meet you at the Bridgehead in 5? K.
