Opened in June of 2006, Victoire offers a well-edited selection of treasures - mixing edgy wares with more classic pieces, owners Régine and Katie create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Focusing primarily on Canadian designers, mixing in a select few American designers, the store’s aesthetic point can only be described as a “Rock ’n’ Roll tea party”. The result is a shopping experience akin to going through your most stylish friend’s closet – you know, the one who always manages to look great, but effortless at the same time, and is always mixing old with new, high with low, tradition with transgression?
Loved by rebel girls with good manners everywhere, Victoire is a shop obsessed with anything made-in-Canada, super cute, gold or embroidered. And we firmly believe in selling clothes that are worthy of being the vintage of tomorrow! If you make pretty things that you think we might dig, send us an email with pics.
Victoire is lucky enough to have an amazingly talented pool of employees. You are sure to fall in love with each of them just as we have. Here is a little 'get to know you' cheat sheet:
*Emily Rose is our shop manager and that keeps her really really busy! A real country girl at heart, but on the dancefloor she looks straight out of a Beyonce video. Sasha Fierce meet Emily Rose.
*Kristina is bubbly, hilarious and a tech-wiz. She's holding it down for us in the 416, and is also THE person to ask for a clever one-liner.
*Ainslie is our resident mermaid/personal shopping guru. With design and sales experience up ta here, you are sure to love shopping with the charming and sweet Ainslie.
*Shaya has style and creativity up the ying-yang. She heads up the Steel Magnolia design team and works hard at keeping us bosses in the know. She also makes her own jewelry under the name Mild Eyes.
*Amber also heads up our Toronto location with Kristina, and together they are perfect partners in crime. Errrrr I mean partners in giving you the best service & super cutest dresses in the whole GTA. Amber also crafts up a mean shop window, manages to look babely in even the silliest of Instagram videos, and models for us on the webstore.
